The Indian team ODI and Test skipper Rohit Sharma’s wife, Ritika Sajdeh, who shares a great friendly bond with several cricketers from the current squad of the team was quick enough to leave a cheeky comment under Shardul’s post, which further led to a funny banter between the two.

“I can see you were trying to go for the smouldering look. Try harder, k thanks bye,” commented Ritika.

Shardul came up with a witty response to Ritika’s comment and replied: “@ritssajdeh no wonder there was fire without smoke.”

It is worth mentioning that Ritika and her husband Rohit are very close friends with Shardul, and they even attended his wedding function a few months back.

Speaking of Shardul’s role in the WTC 2023 final, the 31-year-old cricketer is most likely to be included in the playing eleven due to his all-round ability. Notably, Shardul has played eight Test matches in his career so far and picked 27 wickets, amassing impressive 254 runs with the bat comprising three fifties.
