Play has resumed on the outside courts at Wimbledon after rain had the halted the action on Tuesday at 1:50 p.m. local time. After a short delay, it has continued throughout under the closed roofs on Centre Court and No. 1 Court, with Alexander Zverev defeating qualifier Tallon Griekspoor to advance.

In spite of the poor weather, play did momentarily continue on three outside courts, resulting in #NextGenATP American Sebastian Korda knocking out Alex de Minaur, the 15th seed from Australia and recent Viking International Eastbourne titlist, 6-3, 6-4, 6-7(5), 7-6(5).

On court 12, Frenchman Gael Monfils will resume against Christopher O'Connell following the conclusion of 10th seed Denis Shapovalov's match with Phillip Kohlschreiber. Also in action is Australian Nick Kyrigos who takes on NOVENTI OPEN champion Ugo Humbert, while #NextGenATP Italian Lorenzo Musetti faces Hubert Hurkacz on court 14. Grigor Dimitrov, a semi-finalist at SW19 in 2014, plays Fernando Verdasco on court three.
In early results on day two at the All England Club, ninth-seeded Argentine Diego Schwartzman has completed a 6-3, 6-4, 6-0 win over Benoit Paire of France in a match that was carried over from Monday night. Elsewhere, British 22nd seed Daniel Evans also overcame Feliciano Lopez of Spain 7-6(4), 6-2, 7-5, while Italian 26th seed Fabio Fognini defeated Albert Ramos-Vinolas of Spain 7-6(4), 6-2, 6-4.

The 16th seed Felix Auger-Aliassime was scheduled to play Brazilian Thiago Monteiro but that match has been cancelled due to the rain, as has Viking International Eastbourne finalist Lorenzo Sonego's clash against Pedro Sousa.
