Play has resumed on all courts at Wimbledon after the Day 2 schedule was interrupted for a second time by rain in London.

After Tuesday’s action on uncovered courts was first suspended for approximately 75 minutes shortly after midday local time (BST) at the grass-court major, the rain caused another delay of an hour shortly before 3:30 p.m. Eight men’s singles matches taking place on uncovered courts have now resumed, however, with Andrey Rublev in first-round trouble on Court 2. The sixth seed trails the No. 122 in the PIF ATP Rankings Francisco Comesana 4-6, 7-5, 2-6.

Despite the inclement weather, the action began as planned at 1:30 p.m. on Centre Court and 1 p.m. on No. 1 Court, with both stadiums fitted with a retractable roof.

Seven-time Wimbledon champion and No. 2 in the PIF ATP Rankings Novak Djokovic leads Vit Kopriva by two-sets-to-love on Centre Court, where home favourite Jack Draper later meets Elias Ymer. On No. 1 Court, fourth seed Alexander Zverev is two sets up against Roberto Carballes Baena.
