Bangladesh thump UAE to clinch their maiden U-19 Asia Cup title
In the ACC U19 Asia Cup 2023 Final, Bangladesh Under-19s faced off against United Arab Emirates Under-19s at Dubai International Cricket Stadium. Winning the toss, United Arab Emirates Under-19s elected to bowl.

Bangladesh Under-19s Innings: 282/8 (50 Ovs)


Ashiqur Rahman Shibli displayed a brilliant performance, scoring 129 runs off 149 balls, including 12 fours and 1 six. Rizwan Chowdhury contributed 60 runs, while Ariful Islam added 50 runs to the total. United Arab Emirates bowlers Ayman Ahamed stood out with 4 wickets for 52 runs, and Omid Rahman took 2 wickets for 41 runs.

United Arab Emirates Under-19s Innings: 87/10 (24.5 Ovs)


In response, United Arab Emirates struggled against the Bangladesh bowlers. Dhruv Parashar was the top scorer with 25 runs. Maruf Mridha was the star bowler for Bangladesh, claiming 3 wickets for 29 runs, followed by Rohanat Doullah Borson and Paevez Rahman Jibon with 3 and 2 wickets respectively.

BAN-U19 won by 195 runs.
